F.I.T.T. Principle for cardiac training
The F.I.T.T. principle is a basic philosophy of what is necessary to gain a training effect from an exercise program. F.I.T.T. stands for Frequency, Intensity, Type and Time.
Please keep in mind these are general guidelines for you to have a low moderate fitness levels. Cardiorespiratory training(CRT) and resistance training(RT) are mostly use this principle of exercise.
Guidelines for CRT:-
Frequency
3-5 times per d/wks
Intensity
40-85%(you can set the intensity thru your target training heart rate)
THR calculate:
=RHR+(%Intensity)(220-Age+RHR)
*RHR-resting heart rate *take ur RHR after a proper sleep at night*
*THR-training heart rate
Time
20-60 minutes
Types
Walking, Running, Cycling, Swimming, Rowing, Hiking
This principle will help you how to do a proper cardiac exercise with the well planned program..any question you can ask me via email or comment.
